I had to call this Fangorn – no other name would have done! (Ancient forest in Lord of the Rings for those of the non-geek persuasion) This is the primordial forest above Lough Teagh, a twisted wildwood of gnarled trunks and mossy branches, trees which have fallen over decades ago but continue to grow – just a truly special, magical place. Unfortunately the day was a bit overcast, will try to get back in sunlight before the leaves are gone.
