It was absolutely lashing rain when the alarm went off this morning, drumming against the window when I pulled the blind back to check the light. Heavy black cloud sat low in the sky, but the horizon was a ribbon of purple and gold. Was enough to coax me into my raincoat : ) I’m so glad I wrapped up and went out. The sky was just breathtaking, the waves were five feet tall, catching gold as the sun crested.
