This was my first dawn shoot since coming back from France. It was a stunning morning, high up in the forest overlooking Greystones, the sunpath cutting fire across the sea. The plants are different shapes in Ireland – obvious thing to say, but it lends these macros a different feel. Also, the brambles and thistles and heathers are prickly as bejesus.
