This is a really special place for me. I had a magic few years working on the Peter Rabbit show, and Rydal Water was the first painting of mine the client approved (ended up doing over 400!). Two amazing guys, Dave McCamley and Stephen Robinson, my Director and Art Director, showed frankly Herculean patience as I tried and tried, over and over (and over!) to find the painterly style they wanted. I take a photo of this view every time I visit just to remind myself of why I love the Lake District so much, and what brought me there in the first place.
