I tried to catch sunset on my first evening in teh Lake District this summer – they’re so beautiful there. I was running up hillsides like a madman, trying to reach teh top to see the sun before it dipped. Every time I got to teh top, there was another hill beyond, and another. I was so shattered I stopped for a rest and looked behind me to see this monolithic wall of cloud, and a rainstorm over the sea, lit up in waning light. I never did make the top of the hills that evening but this was worth it!
