A wall of cloud covered the horizon as I settled myself in the sand before dawn. Wasn’t sure what I’d get, but the wait was worth it – when the sun cleared that slab of grey, the whole sky lit up in gold. When the waves crashed, they burst into liquid light for an instant – I managed to catch a few like this, solid sunbeams shining through the water.
