I’d never heard of these little guys before last year. We spent the first couple of days amazed that we had hummingbirds in our back garden in France. Turns out they’re moths – but they move in exactly the same way. Blindingly quick, wings ablur. It’s hard to catch them in focus so I generally just point the camera, get as close as I can, and snap about 30 shots, hoping I get a few in focus! There are many kinds here – these are a couple of examples.
