There’s a colour that only lasts about two weeks every year – usually late April, but it didn’t appear until May this year because of EternoWinter. It’s a kind of lime green, shining lemon yellow when sunlight hits it. New leaves are just stunning. In a few days this colour will fade and darken.  This is White Moss Forest, between Grasmere and Rydal Water, blazing in the setting sun.
