This is another shot from my trip to the Lake District last year. I got up before dawn to catch the sunrise  and made my way up the mountain to Tarn Hows, a spectacular lake and forest park. I had the place entirely to myself – it was pretty special to be there at ‘magic hour’, just as the sun crested – especially as I had waited a few days for some decent sunshine! This was an island I could see across the lake – beautiful Scot’s Pines towering over the water.
